Ingredients
Half a kilogram of medium-sized shrimp peeled and deveined
One cup of flour
Half a cup of cornstarch
One teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Half a teaspoon of paprika
Half a teaspoon of garlic powder
Oil for frying
Juice of one lemon
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large bowl mix the shrimp with lemon juice and let it sit for 10 minutes
2. In another bowl mix the flour cornstarch salt black pepper paprika and garlic powder
3. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat
4. Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture until fully coated then place it in the hot oil
5. Fry the shrimp until golden and crispy about two to three minutes on each side
6. Remove the shrimp from the oil and place on kitchen paper to drain the excess oil
7. Serve the fried shrimp on a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley and lemon juice
