Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups Rice Krispies
1–2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
3. Cream Butter and Sugars:
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
5. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Fold in Mix-ins:
Gently fold in the rolled oats, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
7. Form the Cookies:
Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
8. Bake:
Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
