This unique take on the traditional deli sandwich, the Reuben Pizza Roll, features Corned Beef and Cabbage as its star ingredients.
In essence, what occurred was that I began creating a Reuben pizza with Pillsbury pizza dough before deciding that presenting a standard pizza wasn’t hip enough. No, I couldn’t just eat a sandwich that had been turned into a pizza. Oh no, I already had huge dreams for this one.
Ingredients
1 tube of Pillsbury pizza dough, please
2 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup thousand island dressing, divided
diced up 1/4 pound of sliced corned beef deli meat (or pastrami if you prefer)
3/4 cup, squeezed dry and drained sauerkraut
shredded Swiss cheese, 2 cups plus 1/2 cup, split

Instructions
Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Pillsbury pizza dough should be unrolled onto a prepared baking pan.
To roughly 14 inches by 9 inches, press.
After 8 minutes of baking, turn off the oven.
All the way to the corners of the crust, spread the 1/4 cup of thousand island dressing.
Add 2 cups of Swiss cheese, the chopped sauerkraut, and the chopped corned meat on top.
Pizza should be carefully rolled into a tube.
Place the seam-side down of the pizza roll onto a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle the remaining thousand island dressing and cheese shavings over top.
Bake the dish for an additional 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling in the center.
Slice to serve after taking care to remove from pan. Enjoy!
