Instructions:
Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor or place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush them using a rolling pin until they turn into fine crumbs.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter until well mixed and the crumbs are evenly coated.
Press the cookie mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish, forming a crust. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to press it firmly.
Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form. This will be your pie filling.
Take the pie crust out of the refrigerator and spoon the whipped cream mixture into the crust, spreading it evenly.
Smooth the top of the pie with a spatula.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2-3 hours or until it is set and firm.
Serve chilled and garnish with additional whipped cream or chocolate shavings, if desired.
Enjoy.
