For Baked Ground Beef and Cabbage:

  • 1 onion, diced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Italian herbs
  • Nutmeg
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Green onion, chopped
  • Dill, chopped
  • 5-6 tablespoons white yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • Cabbage, sliced
  • Parmesan Potatoes (see separate instructions)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced onion with salt, Italian herbs, nutmeg, black pepper, paprika, and minced garlic. Mix well.
  3. Add chopped green onion, dill, white yogurt, and tomato paste to the seasoned onion mixture. Combine thoroughly.
  4. Spread sliced cabbage evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Spread the seasoned ground beef mixture over the cabbage.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the ground beef.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until the ground beef is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your baked ground beef and cabbage dish!
