Old Time Oven Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

°6-8 peaches, peeled & sliced

°1 stick unsalted butter, melted

°1 c flour

°1 c of sugar

°1 c brown sugar

°1 tsp baking powder

°⅛ teaspoon of salt

°1 cup milk

°1 teaspoon vanilla extract

°Juice of ½ lemon

Derictions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.Pour melted butter into center of 9×13 inch baking dish, do not spread butter around pan.In another bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Slowly pour in the milk and vanilla extract and stir to combine. Pour the batter over the butter, but do not stir. Add the brown sugar, peach slices and lemon juice to a saucepan over high heat. Stir frequently until the sugar is completely melted and the peaches have released their juices.Spoon the peaches on top of the batter. Do not stir.Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the top of the cobbler is golden brown.Serving warm or cold, or with a scoop ice cream.
